Maryl Baldridge

Maryl

Maryl ‘s yoga practice and teaching are influenced primarily by the Anusara system of yoga.  She is also a massage therapist at the Center of Integrative Healing, and is finishing her master’s degree in mental health counseling at the U of M.  She was blessed to begin her exploration of yoga early in her life at a humble and beautiful studio in her hometown of Whitefish, MT.  Her practice continued to grow throughout her undergraduate studies at Colorado State University, where yoga provided a peaceful refuge as she immersed herself in social activism through her interests in sociology, women’s studies, and Spanish.  However, it wasn’t until she moved to Barcelona for a year abroad that she fully understood yoga as an essential part

of her path and became dedicated to incorporating it more completely into her life.  She completed her first teacher training in August of 2006, and since then has looked for opportunities to share her healing path with others through yoga, massage, and counseling.  She looks forward to furthering her studies with her primary teachers, Amy Ippoliti and Debra Sykes this year as she works toward certification as an Anusara teacher.

What to Expect Attending Maryl's Classes

Maryl’s classes are inspired by the beauty her students express as they become more fully integrated and expansive.  Her teaching reflects her awareness of the healing power of play, a profound respect for the boundaries of strength, deep trust in the importance of alignment, and complete confidence in the potential of each student’s heart to open with elegance and grace.
